why I do what I do

....Because I truly believe that the preservation of our memories is one of the greatest gifts that we can give to ourselves and to our children. Our children deserve to have their childhood memories documented; to have images with their parents playing with and loving them. I want to fill my clients' homes with stunning photos, full of love, that will make them smile every day.

What to expect

Your Photography Session

Every Session includes my in-depth styling assistance and use of client wardrobe. Prices include families of up to 6 people.

Whether you've booked an in-home session or an outdoor session, the process stays the same and it's really simple. I find the best light, I'll show you how to stand and sit (no cheesy posing, just a few tips and tricks to get the most flattering angles) and then I'll offer prompts to get you naturally connecting with the people you love most. You won't be smiling at me, you'll be smiling at each other. Smiling, laughing, playing, kissing, cuddling - all the love ❤️

I get super emotional over my clients' galleries...

I do. And I've definitely shed a few tears when playing back my clients' slideshows! As a Mom myself, I truly understand how meaningful having photos like these are. I know how fleeting this time is - how quickly our children grow and how quickly the memories fade. But we don't have to forget the details that mean so much to us. I've created a seamless and easy process so that you can preserve your memories and relive them over and over... long after your babies have grown out of your arms...

Lifestyle photography simply means that we focus on emotion and connection rather than traditional 'smile at me' portraits. I'll offer lots of advice and guidance to get you in a natural, flattering position whilst maximising the connection between you and your family with simple prompts.

What is lifestyle photography?

A lifestyle newborn session is a natural, connection-focussed way of documenting your newborn. There's no intricate posing, baskets, bunny ears or props. Instead, I capture the authentic, perfect moments of the newborn stage. From the way they lay against your chest, to how tiny their hands are in yours - I document the beauty of your family in the place you call home. HOW does lifestyle newborn photography work?

For families with younger children who have an earlier bedtime, I suggest avoiding high summer and booking your session for the spring or autumn when the sun sets a little earlier in the day. Unfortunately, I don’t schedule outdoor sessions during the day-time as this light doesn’t lend itself well to my style of photography.

Sunset is too late for my child. Can I have an earlier shoot?

For maternity sessions I recommend from around 28 weeks. All of my maternity sessions are at sunset.

For newborn sessions, the first 2 weeks is ideal as babies tend to be at their most settled during this time but we can definitely work with an older baby if you've missed that window. All of my newborn sessions take place at approx 10am.

When should I schedule my maternity / newborn sessions?

No, I don’t charge any extra for weekends. However, I do have very limited weekend availability so these spots go very quickly. My next weekend availability is in October so please get in touch soon if you have a weekend date in mind - I really hate it when I have to say no.

Do you charge extra for weekend shoots?

The online store is accessed via your gallery and allows you to see your images on a range of beautiful artwork and keepsakes. Ordering is easy and I approve all of the orders before sending to the lab to make sure that they print perfectly. All of the products available have been selected from award-winning and industry-leading print labs so they are of the highest quality.
