OK, I know I’m a couple of weeks late for that but if you’ve been following me over on Instagram, you’ll know that I was away over Christmas. And I don’t know about you but it definitely takes me a few weeks to recuperate after travelling abroad with kids – especially when one of those kids is a toddler in the midst of the terrible twos 😂

I’m back to work now though and super excited for the year ahead. I’ve had an influx of families and babies on my books recently and I just can’t wait to meet them all!

I also had some really exciting news to kick off the New Year. You may have seen over on my social media channels – a number of my images were winners in the Lifestyle Photography Association Awards last year. I won a Gold Award for one of my images and I also placed in the Top 50 internationally! My clients know that I work super hard to bring that extra magic to their images so I’m honoured to have that recognised by top industry professionals.

It was also amazing to find out late last year that two of my images made it to the Finals in the 2021 VOICE Competition. This is an annual competition and last year it had over 45,000 entries!! I made it to the Top 64 of those entries which was honestly a real ‘pinch me’ moment. It was also wonderful that one of those images was in the Golden Hour category – which I’m sure you all know is totally my thing 😍
